Sarau Festival Sunday 2nd February 2014 – 10 minutes drive from Bronte

This is a late afternoon festival to celebrate the fabulous Moutere Valley and its people, together with the NZ Blackcurrant growing industry which is an important part of this horticultural district.
The Sarau Festival has something for everyone – interesting stalls to discover, artisans to chat to, workshops to take part in and events for children to participate in – all in a spacious open setting.
Take part in our challenging 26km mountain bike ride through private farms opened only once a year, or pick out the best horticultural (flat) blocks and do the 12km Gentle cycle before returning to the festival to enjoy the rest of the evening!
Listen to local musicians and enjoy food, wine and beer followed by yummy blackcurrant juice and deserts as the sun goes down over the Mount Arthur range.
